Hi All With all the swashbuckling adventure occuring in the 'Golden Years of Hollywood of late with 'Ivanhoe', 'The Swordsman', ''Bandit of Sherwood Forest' and the incomparable 'The Sea Hawk', how about the 1937 version of 'The Prisoner of Zenda'? This would be perfect for a chilly winter Saturday night on GYOH and I would be very interested to hear Bill's comments on this classic! The 1950's version with Stewart Granger, James Mason and co wasn't bad but the 1937 cast was as perfect as it gets! Ronald Colman, Douglas Fairbanks Jnr (who in my opnion steals the film) and Madeleine Carroll in the lead roles are just wonderful! Hoping Fox Classics can acquire the rights to this classic 1930's film! Best -- Michael

    Hi Michael.
I 'll vote for that one.Great film from a great era.I agree Fairbanks stole the picture,in what was probably his best performance.A couple of other 30's classics I'd love to see on GYOH are ' Mutiny on the Bounty' and 'Les Miserables'.( coincidently, both from 1935 and starring Charles laughton!). cheers Jeff
