Synopsis
The son of Robin Hood reunites the Merry Men to save the King of England from the clutches of a ruthless, power hungry despot.
Like his father before him, the legendary English hero Robin Hood, Robert of Nottingham (Cornel Wilde) has grown up to be a dashing lover and outlaw, committed to the pursuit of justice for all.
When the King of England is imprisoned by William Pembroke (Henry Daniell), a cruel Regent bent on snuffing out the country’s new legal guiding light, the Magna Carta, The Queen Mother and Lady Catherine (Anita Louise) turn to Robert for help. Assembling his father’s Merry Men, Robert relies on Friar Tuck (Edgar Buchanan) to sneak him and Catherine inside Pembroke’s castle.
But when they are captured, Robert is forced to take on Pembroke in a fight to the death in order to gain their freedom and end the evil Regent’s tyranny.
Starring Cornel Wilde (The Greatest Show on Earth, A Song to Remember), Anita Louise (The Story of Louis Pasteur, Anthony Adverse), Henry Daniell (The Philadelphia Story, Witness for the Prosecution), and Edgar Buchanan (Shane, Ride the High Country).
