Biography
Considered one of the greatest figures in Australian Cinema, Jack Thompson has recieved notable accolades over the course of his career including several AFI Awards and and award from the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the iconic Australian Film Breaker Morant.
With a career spanning over 40 years and with over 95 screen credits to his name, Thompson is best recognised for his roles in the films Breaker Morant (1980), The Man from Snowy River (1982), Wake in Fright (1971), and Sunday Too Far Away (1975).
