Biography
An American television and film actor with close to 80 screen credits to his name, William Sylvester is perhaps best known for his most famous character Dr. Heywood Floyd in Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey (1968). He is also well known for his roles in the films Gorgo (1961), Devil Doll (1964), and Devils of Darkness (1965).
